drm/amdgpu: Fix use-after-free race in VM acquire
Description

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Fix use-after-free race in VM acquire Replace non-atomic vm->process_info assignment with cmpxchg() to prevent race when parent/child processes sharing a drm_file both try to acquire the same VM after fork(). Solution
Fix race condition in VM acquire by using cmpxchg instead of non-atomic assignment.
  • Apply the patch to fix the VM acquire race condition.
  • Replace non-atomic assignment with cmpxchg for VM process info.
  • Ensure atomic operations for shared VM acquires after fork.
CWE - Common Weakness Enumeration

While CVE identifies specific instances of vulnerabilities, CWE categorizes the common flaws or weaknesses that can lead to vulnerabilities. CVE-2026-43370 is associated with the following CWEs:
